Nao for changing behaviour

Professor David Kavanagh has secured funding for a NAO robot to extend the work of the CogNovo project "Creative technologies for behaviour change". The NAO robot will be used to research remote delivery of motivational interventions.

In this project #13 research fellow Joana Galvão is working on utilising new technological tools to encourage healthier behaviours. Joana is currently spending her secondment basically on the opposite side of the globe from CogNovo's Headquarter in Plymouth (Devon, UK). David Kavanagh, professor at the Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia), is the supervisor for Joana's secondment.
