CogNovo research fellow Diego Maranan has been invited to be a reviewer for the Technical Program Committee for ACM Multimedia 2016, the premier conference for multimedia experts and practitioners across academia and industry. The conference’s goal of bridging academia and industry ties well with Diego’s current research in CogNovo, which focuses on designing wearable technologies and aesthetic experiences for embodied cognition, which Diego is developing with real-world applicability in mind. As a member of the Technical Program Committee, Diego will be reviewing long and short paper submissions. Because of his previous technical and artistic research on human-computer interfaces, Diego has previously served on review panels for other conferences, including the 21st International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA 2015) and the 2nd International Workshop on Movement and Computing (MOCO 2015).
