Agi Haines recently presented at Kikk festival in Namur Belgium. The 'intergalactic festival of digital and creative cultures' had a mixture of presenters from famous typographer and graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister to the thought and taste bud provoking work of The Center for Genomic Gastronomy. Kikk offered a space for designers from all various facets of digital design to reflect on design futures not only speculatively but also ideas and contemplations on the working processes and projections of working as a designer. Alongside the talks were exhibitions, a design marketplace for ideas and a design exhibition aimed at children.
The talk by Agi mainly focused on shifting how we view representations in biomedicine referencing to examples from her event held at the Waag society, 'The Anatomy Lesson: Dissecting medical futures.'
